Training and Qualifications

University of Nottingham and achieved an Advanced Certificate, Diploma and
Masters Degree in Counselling.
Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Accredited Member of the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP).
United Kingdom of Registered Counsellors (UKRC) as an independent counsellor.

I have previously worked for two leading Addiction Treatment providers in both the Criminal Justice System (HM Prisons) with RAPt (Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust) and in the community with The Priory GroupĀ as a Counsellor, Addiction Therapist and Addiction Treatment Manager for 13 years.
I also work therapeutically with the families/loved ones of those experiencing the illness of addiction.

My counselling approach is Humanistic/IntegrativeĀ  and underpins all aspects of my practice and addiction treatment process.
As a member of BACP and FDAP I adhere to their Ethical Framework and Professional Guidelines for Good Practice.
